ChinaJoy and NLGD Foundation Established Overseas Partnership
ChinaJoy Organizing Committee and NLGD Foundation (Netherland Game Development Foundation) have announced an overseas partnership recently. Two Parties will have close cooperation in marketing campaign, lecturer invitation, exhibitor recruitment as well as audience inviting. Such cooperation is to create a smooth communication platform among companies and gaming professionals from both China and the Netherlands, and enhance their mutual understanding on game R&D, business and marketing. The NLGD Foundation will organize the Festival of Games on June 3-4, 2010 in Utrecht, the heart of creative industry in the Netherlands. The event with the theme “Everything Online” will underline the increasing development of online game play and online business in Europe, which have affected the way games are being played, developed, distributed, marketed and exploited. The Festival of Games includes a Games Conference, a Career Fair, a Games Expo and a match-making program called Pitch & Match. Many top game companies worldwide have confirmed to attend the event, including Namco, Capcom, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, SPIL Games, Warner Bros. Independent game developers from the Netherlands, Germany and the UK have also shown great interest in attending. Taking advantage of World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the organizations of ChinaJoy and the Festival of Games will join hands to invite gaming companies participating in the Dutch Pavilion during the World Expo. Two Parties will provide one stop service for gaming companies and independent game studios attending both Dutch Pavilion and ChinaJoy events. The spokesman of ChinaJoy Organizing Committee, Yunpeng Tan, said, “We are glad to see that ChinaJoy and its relevant conference (CGBC, CGDC and CGOC) are winning attentions from an increasing number of international associations and professionals. Many of them are approaching us for further cooperation during these events. As NLGD puts it, “Going Online” is the way for the future development of global game industry. Our events are to provide the most effective communication and business platform for gaming professionals and companies around the world.” For more detailed information for ChinaJoy, CGDC, CGBC, CGOC and the Festival of Games, please visit: ChinaJoy 2010 Date: July 29, 2010-August 1, 2010 Webpage: http://www.ChinaJoy.net CGBC 2010 Date: July 28, 2010-August 1, 2010 Webpage: http://en.chinagbc.com.cn/ CGDC 2010 Date: July 30, 2010-August 1, 2010 Webpage: http://en.chinagdc.com.cn/ CGOC 2010 Date: July 31, 2010-August 1, 2010 Webpage: http://en.chinagoc.com.cn/ Festival of Games 2010 Date: June 3-4, 2010 Webpage: www.festivalofgames.org For ChinaJoy: Mr. Qing Chu / Ms. Hannah Li, +86-10-51659355 ext. 11/16 Fax: +86-10-87732633 qingchu@howellexpo.com hannah_li@howellexpo.com or For CGBC: Mr. Joe Liu / Ms. Phoebe Liu, +86-10-5165 9355 ext. 13/32 Fax: +86-10-8773 2633 joe_liu@howellexpo.com phoebe_liu@howellexpo.com or For CGDC: Mr. Simon Zhu, +86-10-5165 9355 ext. 33 Fax: +86-10-8773 2633 simon@howellexpo.com or For CGOC: Mr. Qing Chu, +86-10-51659355 ext. 11 Fax: +86-10-87732633 qingchu@howellexpo.com or Ms. Tina Han, +86-21-51158098 ext. 1003 Fax: +86-21-52415857 tina.han@smiachina.org or For Media affairs: Ms. Candice Lu, +86- 10-51659355 ext. 32 Fax: +86-10-87732633 candice_lu@howellexpo.com
