Crytek President Gave Keynote Speech on 2010 CGDC
The three-day CGDC 2010 (China Game Developers Conference 2010) has come to an end. This year’sCGDC is designed to accelerate the export of Chinese games, as indicated by a number of topics and the speakers’ qualifications. A speech titled “West Meets East – Expanding Entertainment and Technology into Global Markets” was given by Faruk Yerli, Founder, President and Managing Director of Crytek, on August 1. Mr. Faruk Yerli shared Crytek’s growth story, citing its cross-category, platform, geography and culture development from a barely-known virtual team to a globally leading cross-sector and cross-industry digital entertainment technology company. Faruk believes that the best way for Chinese game teams to mitigate risk when expanding their overseas market is to converge the Chinese and Western styles, for which AION has set a great example.
