What is this I don't even...

First, the name. It's pronounced "gamer," and, at heart, that's what we are. We have a pretty common back story, but then, so do most gamers -- contrary to popular thought, gaming is a highly social thing. Our particular passion was forged in summer-long nightly LAN parties and, since firing up that first match of Half-Life Deathmatch, we've never looked back. We're starting with this website, which is designed to mold gaming news, reviews, and features, with our singularly sarcastic perspective. We wield irreverence and deploy pictorial mockery to bring you our unique take on gaming culture. Sometimes most of what we have to say will simply be in the headline image. 

At any rate, what you'll get from us is honest, unfiltered gaming editorial, just the way we like it. We're sort of like "The Onion" for gamers, but you can expect some legitimate game journalism spattered in there... somewhere. And that's just the beginning.
